From The Anglish Wiki

Ofer þe ea, and þruge þe wood,
To eldfaþers huse we go;
þe hors knows þe way to fare þe sleig
þruge þe hwite and drifted snow.

Ofer þe ea, and þruge þe wood,
to eldfaþers huse away!
We woold not stop for doll or top,
for 'tis Þanksyeafing Day.

Ofer þe ea, and þruge þe wood—
oh, hu þe wind does blow!
It stings þe toes and bites þe nose
as ofer þe grund we go.

Ofer þe ea, and þruge þe wood—
and straigt þruge þe barnyard gate,
We seem to go oferly slow,
it is so hard to wait!

Ofer þe ea, and þruge þe wood—
Hwen eldmoþer sees us cum,
Sce will say, "O, dear, þe cildren are here,
bring a pie for eferyone."

Ofer þe ea, and þruge þe wood—
nu eldmoþers cap I spy!
Hurrah for þe fun! Is þe pudding done?
Hurrah for þe pumpkin pie!
