Nightshade befell us and we lost sight,
Hope, we'd foregone, in forgotten light.
Wild eyes beheld us from darkest moor,
Beaten by fire in tooth and claw.
Ridden, longwinded, our loss; we roam.
Yet now the beacons will call us home.
Hands blue and frozen, our hearts grew cold.
Thawed by the warmth of the kin we hold.
